They are always followed by the form of a verb.
They dont change their form whatever the subject is.

Helping verbs or auxiliary verbs such as will, shall, may, might, can, could, must, ought to, should, would, used to, need are used in conjunction with main verbs to express shades of time and mood. The combination of helping verbs with main verbs creates what are called verb phrases or verb strings.
SENTENCES:
1. He (will) be able to go to the game if he does his homework.
2.You (may) go to play in one hour.
3. She (might) want to see her father first.
4. They (should) practice more for the final test.
5. Maybe you (would) have to find a job to be able to pay the bills.
